INTRAVENOUS MEDICATIONS

Daughter holding her mother hand in hospitalWhen an individual is in recovery, they are often prescribed intravenous medications. Family members and untrained caretakers usually do not know how to manage intravenous medications. With the help of a skilled nurse, handling intravenous medications can become much easier.

Our nurses do not need to be in the home all of the time to care for the patient. Our nurses excel in teaching patients or their caregivers how to care for the IV site and how to change medications when it is necessary. Our nurse will still make frequent visits to ensure that care of the IV site and medication administration is going properly.

We can make it less stressful for our patients by ensuring that their medication is shipped straight to their home so that they never need to worry about running out of their medication. Agility Health will work very closely with the patient’s doctor to ensure that they are getting the proper intravenous medication care.

We want to make in-home care as easy as possible. It is always better for patients to be cared for in their home. Being cared for in a familiar space makes it much more comfortable and relaxing for the patient. Agility Health has provided in-home care for many Bay Area residents. We are prepared to answer any questions that you may have about intravenous medications and in-home care. Our nurses are very friendly and highly knowledgeable about home health care. If you or a loved one needs help with their intravenous medications, give Agility Health a call.
